JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will work closely with the database architect and project manager to implement data projects. This includes participating in architecting the solution, writing/modifying code, analyzing the issues and integrating with third party systems. The code developed needs to be efficient and created with documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Database architect on new/existing projects
• Design and develop ETL programs and workflows
• Maintain and Manage existing programs/jobs
• Implement business rules , deploy , monitor and configure code as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• University or college Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of pertinent experience working as a ETL developer and/or TIBCO BusinessWorks developer
• Very strong experience in enterprise data warehouse/Business intelligence OR Master data management
• Very strong experience in SOA implementations using TIBCO BusinessWorks
OR Very Strong experience in ETL development using open source tool: Pentaho
• Very strong understanding of SQL: T-SQL, Triggers, MYSQL and MSSQL databases
• Strong understating of XSLT, SOAP, XML and J2EE technologies.
• Experience working with Orsyp is a plus
• Experience working with storage engines: MyISAM & InnoDB.
• Experience working with APIs and complex integration projects
• Excellent in solving complex technical and business problems
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work within a team setting
• Resourceful and willing to take initiative
• Experience in a small or medium-sized business
• Proven track record of adaptability
• English is a must, French is an plus
