Our client is recruiting for their Data Engineer - Analytics with a passion for Big Data to join on a very strong Analytics team in a Games Studio located in Downtown Montreal
Using Python coding to design custom ETL processes and facilitating the scraping of data from web source
Variety of projects depending on the needs of the analytics team
ETL work Using SQL server and the structuring and management of data from more traditional sources
Excellent level of SQL and experience designing and building/managing relational databases
QUALIFICATIONS
3 years+ of hands-on work experience in a similar position requiring ETL, Data Modeling, & Business Intelligence architectures to be designed and developed.
Bachelor Degree is a must
Masters and/or PHD is a bonus
Strong background in data warehouse design and data modelling standards.
Experience in understanding the underlining requirements to translate them into data models.
Social gaming on mobile and Facebook is a big asset.
Experience Python and SQL
Experience with Tableau administration
Bilingual in English and French
