Longue description
We are looking for a talented IT TECHNICAL RECRUITER. This is a permanent position and the work is done in downtown of Montreal. Beautiful challenges are awaiting you.

• Identify/clarify hiring specifications and competencies, research and document principal requirements to ensure accurate and detailed job descriptions.
• Source and recruit candidates through direct recruiting efforts—using available job boards, deep web searches and social media channels
• Work closely with the Manager, HR to develop and execute tactical sourcing methods to optimize quality and quantity results
• Qualify candidates through recruiting calls – screening candidates for essential function/duties, work history, training, behaviour, availability, technical skills and salary requirements
• Use the online applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and updating candidate records and client requirements
• Update the applicant tracking system at all times and leave important notes to ensure transparency and effectiveness
• Attend various recruitment events including tech talks, competitions and conferences to promote exposure and stature
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruiting process
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum of 2 years staffing firm or corporate technical recruiting experience
• Recruit and source actively from our ATS, online databases, contact lists, and employee referrals, as well as passive candidates through internal and external networking, cold calling, advertisements and internet research.
• Ability to source through social media networking (LinkedIn, Stack Overflow, GitHub, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Social Talent and personal networks) to find top candidates for technical and non-technical roles
• Strong behavioural interviewing techniques and the ability to quickly evaluate candidates to ensure that they are fit to the job
• Proactive attitude in processing the interview and offer process, reference checks, salary recommendations, and closing of candidates.
• Can manage one’s time effectively
• Excellent communication skills on the phone or face-to-face interview with the candidates
• C- Level type of communication to ensure understanding between you and the Partners
• Can work in a fast-paced environment and work with all levels of management and candidates
• Can influence decisions made by managers, interviewers and team members throughout the hiring process
• Strong knowledge in SDLC
• Bilingual for both oral and written
