JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Training and coaching business users on various custom-developed software platforms (you will be trained initially in using the different systems)
• Creation of user support materials
• Creation of written test cases and QA / testing of in-house software development, verifying that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines
• Liaising with developers and users in the resolution of bugs and other systems issues
• Reviewing, prioritizing and responding to support requests from users
• Monitoring software platforms in production
• Management of defect tracking system
• Management of change control process
• Collaboration with designers in the functional design of new software modules
REQUIRED SKILLS:
> Must have:
• Great communication skills
• Bilingual (French/English), written and spoken.
• Team player
• Flexible approach and get-it-done attitude
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Attentive to detail
> Nice to have:
• Experience working in one or more of the following positions: trainer, software tester, user support specialist, business or systems analyst
• Experience working on software development projects or familiarity with software development lifecycle processes
• Experience using either Microsoft Sharepoint or SAP Business Objects
• Experience creating UML artefacts, Use Cases and Test Cases
• Experience using or managing bug tracking tools
