Cofomo is currently looking for a Senior Software Administrator (WebSphere/WMB and/or IBM/IIB) to achieve a mandate with one of its clients in Montreal.
The responsibilities are:
• Design, install, configure and maintain system software in support of business processing requirements;
• Assess, schedule and perform upgrades and patches;
• Monitor and tune the system software to achieve optimum performance levels, efficiency and reliability;
• Define and implement backup schedules and archiving solutions;
• Diagnose and resolve system software problems;
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive configuration database/library of all supporting documentation;
• Ensure appropriate level of technology, operating system and system software currency for existing and future business needs;
• Define implementation plan details as they relate to system software components;
• Establish and ensure compliance with operating procedures for system software.
The required skills and competencies are:
• Three (3) to five (5) years of hands-on administering experience with WebSphere Message Broker (WMB) and/or IBM Integration Bus (IIB);
• Experience working on multiple operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux);
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution skills;
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with peers, management, clients, and partners;
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
